THE 3RD STAGE OF “COLOR DREAMS OF BLACK AND WHITE LETTERS” FILM PRODUCTION PROJECT WAS SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED

The Gabala – practical stage of “Colorful dreams of black and white letters” film production project of Azerbaijan Union of Filmmakers has ended. Project 3^rd stage covered December 2-9, 2023.

The director’s script writing, the storyboard drawing, location scouting and preparing it for shooting, and all preparatory work before the film took place in the Gabala stage. The short feature film “Court” written by Fidan Magbet, Chinara Alishli and Orkhan Babayev, whose script was selected to the project and the director and screenwriter Elvin Abdullayev, and the cinematographers Izzatkhanim Jabbarli and Afag Yusifli, covering the participants’ approach to the cinema, first steps to this industry and the general filmmaking process via the documentary named “Transformation” were shot within the Gabala stage of the project. The mentor as well as artistic director of the film is director Rovshan Isakh, a member of Azerbaijan Union of Filmmakers.

Honored artists Ilgar Jahangir, Ilham Huseynov and Russian Drama Theater actor Elshad Suleyman were the main casts.

The peculiarity of the film production project is that the film crew is young and emerging talents. The director, art director, costume designer, make-up artist, composer, screenwriters, editor, others of the film composed of selected participants of the team.
