A NEW FILM PROJECT FROM AUF BOARD MEMBER.

Tahir Tahirovich, a member of the AUF Board has started a new film project. It should be noted that the crew of the film is as follows: idea author – Samir Rzayev, director – Turan Yagublu, director of photography – Amina Hasanli, and producer – Tahir Tahirovich.

A film called “Odyssey of an Austrian” is shot about Rudolph Weiss. Rudolf Weiss, a captured soldier of German army who was sent to Azerbaijan after World War II, currently lives in Vienna and has written down his Azerbaijan memories.

The project is being produced at “Nova Gorica” cinema center with the support of the Ministry of Culture: According to it the shooting is going to finish at the end of September.

“Rudolph Weiss is 96 years old. He worked on the construction of buildings known as “Government House” and “Horologium” as well as road constructions in Salyan and Neftchala districts of Azerbaijan. Film locations are Vienna, Baku, Nefchala and Salyan.
