One of the strategic objectives of Azerbaijan Union of Filmmakers is to enhance the viewership of national films. To achieve this, screenings of both new and classic Azerbaijani films are organized. Therefore, Azerbaijan Union of Filmmakers is conducting a series of events designed to familiarize audiences in regions with contemporary Azerbaijani cinema, thereby fostering a deeper appreciation for the nation’s artistic heritage.
In previous years, screenings titled “Cinema Days in the South” were orchestrated in the regions of Lankaran, Bilasuvar, and Lerik. Furthermore, in July of this year, the “Shirvan Cinema Days” project was successfully implemented, showcasing a curated selection of films aimed at enriching the local cultural landscape and promoting regional engagement with cinematic art.
Continuing the esteemed tradition, AUF is set to present a selection of contemporary films in Mughan region this October. In keeping with our established practices, the screenings will feature not only works by independent filmmakers but also films commissioned by state entities.
Screenings are scheduled to occur in Beylagan, Imishli, Sabirabad, and Saatli districts. In the forthcoming days, we will provide comprehensive details regarding the titles, dates, and times of the films
