On the order of Azerbaijan Union of Filmmakers “Rollerbird” company will prepare an information booklet on film festivals and funds.
Writer Afsana Yusif and film director Turkan Huseyn will work on the project. It based on the idea of Ali Isa Jabbarov, a board of AUF.
The booklet covers an explanation of the stages – pre-production, production and post-production, starting from development, what kind of workshops to join, how to write a logline, synopsis, treatment and producer’s statement, budget, writing a financial plan, which festivals to apply to, the explanation of distribution and etc.
The purpose of this initiative is to familiarize young filmmakers for all steps in film production.
The booklet will be presented to readers in September 2024.
