“Cinema Days in Shirvan” organized by Azerbaijan Union of Filmmakers has come to an end. As part of the project, new Azerbaijani full – length feature films “Sughra and Sons” by Ilgar Najaf, “Slave” by Elvin Mirzayev, “I’m here, God!”, short feature films “Tremble” by Amil Amal, “Pole Star” by Shirin Ahmedov and short documentaries “The Return of Gulyetar” by Elvin Ashirov, “Childhood Photo” by Parviz Hasanov and “Chapters”, Intigam Hajili’s “The First Martyr” and “My Father, mother and me” screened in Shirvan, Neftchala, Salyan, Hajigabul and Bilasuvar cities.
Film theorist Aygün Aslanli, film critic Haji Safarov, and director Gulu Asgarov took part in the events.
Before that, AUF implemented this project under the name of “Cinema Days in the South” in Lerik, Lankaran and Bilasuvar cities. Throughout the year, films will be screened both in Baku and regions.
