A MEETING WAS HELD WITH RASIM BALAYEV, CHAIRMAN OF AZERBAIJAN UNION OF FILMMAKERS.

Chairman of Azerbaijan Union of Filmmakers, People’s Artist Rasim Balayev has been a guest in the “We have a guest” project.

The project organized by Baku City Head Culture Department took place at Mardakan Culture Palace.

At first, National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played and the dear memory of our martyrs was commemorated with a stand in silence. The head of Khazar Region Executive Power Elshan Salahov, the chief of Baku City Head Culture Department Ibrahim Aliyev, People’s Painter of Azerbaijan Ashraf Heybatov, responsible employees of the executive power, representatives of the region’s administrative bodies, institutions and organizations, residents, young people and highbrows participated in the meeting.

The presenter of the event, Gunay Firudingizi, has spoken about the creative path of Rasim Balayev. Afterwards, People’s Artist answered the audience questions, spoke about his arrival to the cinema, interesting stories happened during filming, and subtleties of the art of acting. At the same time, fragments from “Nasimi”, “Babek”, “Dada Gorgud”, “Javid`s lifetime” and other films were screened.

Elshan Salahov, the head of Khazar District Executive Power, spoke about the influence of the characters created by Rasim Balayev on young generation growth in the spirit of national patriotism.

In his speech, the chief of Baku City Head Culture Department Ibrahim Aliyev spoke about Rasim Balayev’s contribution to Azerbaijani art and wished him success on his works.

Commemorative photos were taken with AUF Chairman at the end of the meeting.
