ANIMATİON FILMS` SCREENİNG FOR CHILDREN AT CİNE HOUSE

On December 22, residents of the “Women and Children’s Shelter” of the “Clean World” Women’s Aid Public Union visited the Cinema House of the Union. Children aged 7-15 took part in the event organized to make children happy in the New Year.

Animation films “Mrs.Tik-tik in Gobustan” (directed by S. Abbasbeyli), “Snowball” (directed by S. Guliyeva) and “Beginning” (directed by V. Behbudov) were screened for children.

Some interesting moments occurred during the event which was moderated by film school student and director Ulviya Ahmadova. So, after the screening children discussed the films and expressed their wishes for the New Year. Many admitted they enjoyed watching animation on the big screen for the first time.

It should be noted that although children’s imagination about animation is not so wide but bottom line was procuring their sensitive feelings. As a result of these feelings, these children did not hesitate to express their dreams.

Their New Year’s wishes were as interesting as impressive they were. There were those who wanted to travel the world, to see Karabakh, to wish everyone a friendly life and, the most impressive-to meet with their parents…

At the end of the event, New Year gifts were presented to them.

AUF intends to hold a series of such events in terms of corporate social responsibility, to instill in children the habit of watching films, to form a new generation audience.

It should be noted that the “Clean World” Women’s Aid Public Union, which was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan on September 29, 2006, has been active in our country since 1998. The Union successfully cooperates with governmental and non-governmental organizations to protect the rights and freedoms of women and to develop their skills and abilities.
