Bishkek International Film Festival will be held in Bishkek city for the second time on June 11-15, 2024.
The festival is organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic and Bishkek Municipal Government Office. More than 70 guests from more than 20 countries and about 200 filmmakers are expected to attend the festival.
Film festival program includes a retrospective screening of national films, as well as master classes, lectures and panel discussions with the participation of filmmakers and cultural figures visiting the festival. Approximately 30 films will be screened within the framework of the festival.
Film critic Aygun Aslanli represents Azerbaijan Union of Filmmakers at the aforementioned festival.
Azerbaijan Union of Filmmakers considers the integration of our national cinema into the world cinema, especially the Turkic one, as well as the cooperation necessary in this field. Therefore, it supports Azerbaijan’s participation in international cinema events. Film critic Aygün Aslanli`s participation is based on the initiative of AUF.
