Azerbaijan Union of Filmmakers has provided financial support to the film project of young director Azer Allahverdiyev, a graduate of Film School under AUF.

The director has completed the shooting process of his next short film named “Doubt”. The plot of the film is based on the last attempts of the couple, who are already spiritually separated from each other which gaps and doubts arose in their relationship. The psychological state of the heroes with visual images is turned into a screenplay.

The script writer and director and director of photography of the film is Azer Allahverdiyev, assistant director Tofig Baba and main actors Elnur Pasha and Nurida Musabeyli.

It should be noted that, director Azer Allahverdiyev studied at the Faculty of History of Nakhchivan State University. He entered the world of photography and cinema since his student years. The director, who has been shooting professional commercials since 2017, also works on short screenplays. His film “Three Ways” has been the winner of Baku International Short Film Festival in 2020.
