Rustam Ibragimbekov`s next award

The winner of the special nomination “For Honor and Dignity” named after Eldar Ryazanov for 2020 was selected the chairman of Azerbaijan Union of Filmmakers, writer, dramaturgist and film director Rustam Ibragimbekov. The award was presented by film director Andrei Konchalovsky.

“Nika” National Film Award was established in 1988 at the initiative of a film director Yuli Gusman and has been presented annually since then. Due to the fact that, presentation ceremony did not take place because of the pandemic last year, this year’s ceremony contained the selections of 2019 and 2020.
