“Nova Gorica” film center has started shooting the documentary “Bloody ID” with the support of “Euroclima” company. The film is dedicated to the intelligence officer Adil Rustamov, one of the heroes of the First Karabakh War.
Film crew are as follow: Director-Aydan Ahmedova, director of photography- Rafig Aliyev and Yaghmur Ibrahimov, creative producer and head teacher as well as the member of AUF Board- Tahir Tahirovich, producer- Aslan Abdullayev.
Adil Rustamov was born in Zangilan in 1963. In 1983, he graduated from Baku Polytechnic Technical University. He served in the military as a militia sergeant in Shevchenko, Kazakhstan. Returning to Zangilan in 1990s, he founded a small enterprise called “Ziya”. With the capabilities of his enterprise, he donated 20,000 manat to the National Army, and 2,500 manat per month to the family of martyr Pirgulu Ismayilov. Later, he joined Azerbaijan National Army, was appointed company commander, then intelligence commander. He was tortured and killed in a hand-to-hand fighting at Shayifli station on December 10, 1992. His grave is in Zangilan city cemetery. He was posthumously awarded with “Flag of Azerbaijan” order.
