The Azerbaijan Union of Film-makers has started scriptwriting competition

AZERBAIJAN UNION OF FILM-MAKERS and The Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund hold a script contest “Outstanding Azerbaijanis of Russia.”

The purpose of the competition is to create a chronicle of the life of prominent Azerbaijanis living and working in Russia for many years, to inform them of the achievements and expand their participation in documentary films.

Terms:

1. Script of documentary films (no more than 52 min.) in the genres of film-essay, film-portrait, film-research should tell about the fates of prominent Azerbaijanis who lived and worked in Russia in the 19th-20th centuries.
2. Scripts are accepted in Azerbaijani and Russian.
3. Scripts can be send to [email protected]. Deadline is 20.03.2020
4. Scripts must be with original storytelling, unique and never screened before.
5. Resume of the scriptwriter.
6. The winners will be awarded with a diploma and a cash prize by cinema experts of AUF.
