A LOOK TO OUR CULTURAL MEMORY AT THE CINE HOUSE
Film theorist, screenwriter, analytics Toghrul Juvarlı and philosopher, film theorist Rahman Badalov were moderators of the event.
They talked about Baku, its heroes, characters who became symbols. Emphasizing the importance of cultural memory, Rahman Badalov also noted the significance of freeing this memory from obligatory and mainstream shackles.
The heroes of this event, in moderators` opinion, were the intellectuals who tried to resist against Soviet requirements Elchin, Kemal, Tofig Aslanov brothers and Araz Dadashzadeh the outstanding literary critic Mammad Arif`s son, a scientist, who was Azerbaijan Soviet Encyclopedia`s editor-in-chief.
Aforementioned scientists and masters maintained their values in the Soviet environment and contributed to public interests, culture and development of our science.
One of the main goals of the event was to refresh our memory of people who resisted the conjecture. Especially these type of people serve to create a morally healthy environment.
