The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan has officially approved the new structure of the Board of the Azerbaijan Young Filmmakers Association public union. Young filmmakers Murad Allahverdi, Sevinc Guliyeva, and Haji Safarov have been appointed as board members, while Afag Yusifli has been elected Deputy Chairperson.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Young Filmmakers Association was founded in 2005 by Ali Isa Jabbarov (Chairman), director Asif Rustamov, and producer Fehruz Shamiev.
The association’s main projects include the analytical film magazine Fokus and the news portal Kinoinfo.az. In addition, it implements support projects for documentary and student films.
